TERMS & POLICIES
Deposit & Payment Policy
All video production projects require an upfront deposit before scheduling, pre-production, filming, editing, or other production work begins.
All deposits paid to Gyro Studios are non-refundable and considered earned upon payment. Deposits are used to reserve production dates, begin planning, allocate creative and technical resources, prepare for the project, and hold availability for the client.
By submitting a deposit, the client acknowledges and agrees that the deposit secures Gyro Studios’ time, availability, and preparation for the project, and that the deposit will not be refunded if the client cancels, delays, postpones, becomes unavailable, fails to schedule, or chooses not to proceed with the project.
If a project is delayed or rescheduled, Gyro Studios may, at its discretion, apply the deposit toward a future production date or revised project scope, subject to availability. Any remaining balance is due according to the agreed payment schedule for the project.
This policy applies to all video production, commercial, film, photography, editing, and creative media services provided by Gyro Studios.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Clients are responsible for providing timely communication, availability, approvals, locations, participants, products, access, and any required information needed to complete the project.
If the client cancels, delays, postpones, becomes unavailable, fails to respond, or fails to provide access to the required filming location, people, products, or materials, the project may be delayed or paused. Any deposit or upfront payment already made remains non-refundable.
Gyro Studios will make reasonable efforts to reschedule a project when possible. Rescheduling is subject to Gyro Studios’ availability and may require additional fees depending on the amount of time, preparation, crew, equipment, travel, or production resources already committed.
If Gyro Studios must reschedule due to weather, illness, emergency, equipment issue, location issue, safety concern, or other production-related circumstance outside of reasonable control, Gyro Studios will work with the client to select a new production date.
Project Scope & Revisions
Any additional filming days, edits, deliverables, versions, revisions, formats, locations, concepts, social media cutdowns, interviews, graphics, subtitles, music licensing, voiceover, travel, or other services outside the original scope may require additional payment.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, each video project includes 2 rounds of revisions after the first edit is delivered. Revisions are not complete project overhauls. Major creative changes, new concepts, new footage requests, reshoots, script changes, or changes that alter the original direction of the project may be treated as additional work that requires further payment.
Gyro Studios reserves the right to determine whether a requested change is a standard revision or a new/additional service.
Delivery & Turnaround
Delivery timelines vary depending on the project scope, filming schedule, client communication, editing complexity, revision requests, music licensing, graphics, visual effects, approvals, and overall production requirements.
Any estimated delivery date is an estimate unless a specific deadline is agreed to in writing. Delays in client communication, approvals, scheduling, payments, access, materials, or feedback may delay the final delivery.
Final files may be delivered through cloud storage, digital download link, hard drive, or another delivery method chosen by Gyro Studios.
Final deliverables are released after all required payments have been completed unless otherwise agreed in writing.
